| Saving Money with Condition Assessment - A major water utility in Texas was concerned about the condition of a 24 inch water main which experienced a rupture and was situated near a natural gas pipeline. Prior to simply replacing the water main, PPIC was called in to conduct an RFTC inspection of the main and found it to be in good condition. As a result of the inspection, the utility had confidence that the asset was in good condition and was able to avoid replacing the line with an estimated cost savings of $3 million. |

| Emergency Inspection in Texas - When a major water utility in Texas suspected a leak in a 24” cast iron pipeline, PPIC was rapidly mobilized to confirm the leak and pinpoint the exact location. Approximately 3,800 feet of the pipeline was inspected identifying the exact location and relative size of the leak in real-time. Two additional leak locations were also identified. |
